The confusing lyrics you refer to are actually:

"When you need someone strong, our robot friend is there before long...."

It sounds a little odd because of the way it's paced. It goes something like:

"our robot friend is there be-.....(pause)......-fore long...."

Hey all. Been on here browsing for some time now, thought it might be a prudent time to actually register and make my first post. so here it is! I know, it's nothing all that spectacular, but meh. I do what i can... Anyways, my question is thus: I have volumes 1-6 of the 2003 astroboy series...
