Would you believe that at my age that thought sometimes crosses my mind? I bought some hair gel (which does help extend the time I can go between haircuts without having it stick out all over refusing to comb flat), but yeah the thought does cross my mind to see if I can create those cowlicks! No if only my hair wasn't thinning up top in the middle.

That thought also crossed my mind, but to be honest I never get around to try myself to make my hair Like Astro boy. But I could make it like tobio's hair style, and cosplay as Toby instead, for my hair is like a goldish dark brown, or light brown some people say.
I don't think that would work on me using hair gel..cuz my hair only goes half way up to my neck (not to the shoulders)so I geuss it might be abit long for that, also it's kinda fluffy. but maybe it would work trying hair like uran. But then again, it make a crossover of uran and tobio's. -_-
I think I'll have to use my brothers hair gel, lf he would let me lol.

It's less about gender bending and more about assuming I probably would have kept my hair short if I wasn't a girl. Goodness knows I have enough costumes of boy characters (Jack Skellington, Willy Wonka, Manfred von Richthofen, Cyril Sneer, Stitch, the Invisible Man...) come to think of it, I can't remember the last time I costumed as a girl character.
