Good News! *drum roll* I have almost completed the last of the Story of Zinc. There are going to be 12 chapters in all . Some of which change pionts of view, like go to Astro, Zorans, and O'Shays pionts of veiw. The last 5 chapters are farely short for that reason.

Chapter 6; Fish Bot

I opened my eyes to see Astro, Zoran, and Dr.O’Shay standing above me. I was in my room on my soft bed and the little fluffy kitten was curled up next to me. At first I didn’t remember what had happened, but then it all became clear. I sat up with lightning speed almost knocking Soul off the bed. My skin felt tighter and thicker than normal as I did.
“How long have I been out?” I asked
“Only a day, Zinc.” The doctor said. “I gave you stronger skin and more strength so if you ever do something like that again you won’t be as damaged.”
“Really!?” I said and I jumped off the bed.
I ran to the dresser, wrapped my arms around it, and lifted it up with ease. The things that were on top of it slid off and hit my face one of which was Zoran’s beloved mirror and it quickly crashed to the ground and shattered.
“I’m sorry, Zoran.” I said as I put down the dresser and rushed to pick up the pieces of her mirror.
She said it was okay, but I doubt that she meant it.
“Why don’t we go to the beach so you can test out your strength without wrecking anything?” Astro suggested.
“The beach? You mean I’ll finally get to swim in the ocean!” I said with excitement.
“Yeah, I guess so.” Astro said not so enthusiastic.
“Yay!” I said and ran into the bathroom to put my swim suit on.
When I came out of the bathroom ,after putting on my little yellow one piece swim suit, Zoran and Astro where waiting for me. Zoran was wearing a pink bikini and Astro was in his usual clothes of black shorts and red boots. It made me wonder if it ever came off.
“Come on, Zinc, Nora is driving us there.” Zoran said and I grabbed her hand.
We walked out into the bright sun and as we strolled to the car I glance at the place where the yellow flower used to be. Although, instead of the yellow flower in that spot, there sat was a blood red flower. I ignored the strange occurrence and climbed into the car.
Before I knew it we were out on the sands of the beach. The sun seemed to glitter on the hot, bronze sand and the smell of salt water radiated throughout the whole beach. The dark blue ocean sparkled and moved with life. I ran towards the water and as I ran my toes dug into the soft sand. When my legs hit the cold water I shivered. I continued to run farther into the ocean, but suddenly I could no longer feel the ground underneath me. I screamed and started flailing my arms. I knew that I didn’t need breathe air and staying above water was not necessary, but the thought of being completely submerged terrified me for some reason. Zoran quickly flew over and grabbed me up from the water.
“Are you okay? What’s wrong?” She said alarmed.
“I couldn’t touch the ground! I don’t want to swim anymore!” I said scared.
Zoran seemed confused at my fear “Well… Maybe you should stay in the shallows.” She suggested.
She set me down in the shallow water and I felt ashamed. Then for the first time I noticed what looked like a small metal island.
“Um… What’s that?” I asked.
“That is the Blue Knight’s ship. He is normally in traveling in space, but every so often he comes back to collect the robots that want a more free life.” Astro said.
“Cool.” I said, but I was already bored and playing in the sand.
“Hey, I’m going to go see how he and his crew are doing. Zoran, do you want to come with me?” Astro said and started hovering in the air.
“Sure.” Zoran said and she started hovering too.
“Wait, bring me along!” I yelled.
Zoran swooped me up in her arms and we sped towards the ship. We landed on the boarding deck and there was a whole load of robots going into the ship. A huge robot man approached us. He wore blue armor and looked super tough.
“Hello, Blue Knight. How is it going?” Astro asked the blue armored robot.
“All is well, Astro.” The Blue Knight said.
Suddenly, a giant hologram appeared on the beach. There was this strange green haired clown looking man in the hologram.
“There is a fish bot heading towards the Blue Knights ship carrying the biggest explosion you will ever see. No one can stop it, because if the fish bot is damaged the bomb will go off! As I always say destruction is the purest form of art!” The clown man said with an evil laugh then the hologram despaired.
Fear and anger instantly spread throughout the town and the Blue Knights ship. The clouds rolled in and covered the sun and the ocean became dark as if they knew that something bad was about to happen. That’s when I saw a huge robot fish swimming out of the river and into the ocean waters. It was the size of two buses and heavily armored.
“I need to go stop it!” Astro yelled.
“And I will help!” The Blue Knight said.
“No you have to stay and defend the ship.” Astro said.
The Blue Knight looked about ready to whack Astro over the head when a strange robot man that was wear a half black, half white cloak walked up next to him and put his hand on the Blue Knight’s shoulder.
“Astro is right, Blue Knight, you need to stay here. You are the only fighter robot we have brought on this trip and you need to defend us if Astro fails.” The cloaked robot man said.
“Yes, Shadow.” The Blue Knight said as he backed down.
Zoran flew me back and dropped me off in the shallows. I ran onto the beach and Dr.O’Shay was already standing there. I watched as Astro and Zoran flew away and started trying to get rid of the fish bot without damaging it. It snapped at them and it had teeth that were the length of Zoran’s torso. There was a small mouth hole and I analyzed it to see that was the only way in.
“You can get inside of the fish through the mouth hole!” I yelled, but they didn’t hear me.
I watched them struggle for just a little longer when I couldn’t take it anymore. They need help and I could give it to them. I ran into the water and heard O’Shay yelling after me. I dove in and swam with such speed that the world around me seemed to be a blur. It reared open its jaws in order to snap at Astro when I zoomed up and swam straight into its mouth and down its throat. It was dark inside so I clicked on my high beams and I instantly saw the beeping bomb surrounded by wires. I climbed between the circuitry and grasped the bomb. I had to be very careful as I lifted it up and pulled it out of the socket. It only had one minute left. I crawled out of the throat and the moment it spread its jaws again I swam out with speed. Zoran and Astro were astonished to see me.
“Astro, grab this!” I threw him the bomb and he caught it with surprise in his eyes.
There was only ten seconds left at this time. Astro flew into the clouds and throw the bomb straight into the stratosphere. Then the whole sky little up. A huge “BOOM” went slamming into the city, but luckily the sound was all. Astro came floating back down and cheerful feelings where everywhere. The clouds still covered the sky though. I looked to the beach and saw a crowd of people standing there with smiles on their faces, but then their faces turned to shock. I heard splashing behind me and looked back to see huge robot jaws circling me. The teeth clasped down on me and it crushing into my chest. My whole body screamed in agony. Then everything became peaceful and the world went black.

Chapter 7; Astro's piont of veiw

I flew straight into the gray clouds and threw the bomb higher than I have ever thrown anything before. I flew away fast and then the bomb went off and the sound wave itself seemed to push me closer to the earth. I started to fly back down and I saw a ton of people around the beach, but instead of them being cheerful the all had shock and horror on their faces. I turned to see Zoran screaming and the giant fish splashing around. When its head came out of the water I saw why everyone was scared. Zinc’s little body was hanging out of the fish bot’s mouth. Without hesitating I sped toward the fish, pulled my fist back, and punched straight through the bot’s metal skull. The fish bot stopped moving and started falling down into the water. I grabbed it and ripped off its lower jaw. Zinc was in nearly two pieces when I grabbed her up and rushed her back to the beach. When Dr.O’Shay saw her he look about ready to cry. We rushed into the car and the doctor drove straight to the ministry. When we walked into the room and placed Zinc’s limp body on a table Zoran was already crying.
“Don’t worry, Zoran, O’Shay will fix Zinc.” I said, but I too had tearing in my eyes.
“I want you two to go home, recharge, and get some rest.” Dr.O’Shay said.
I was about to ague and so was Zoran, but I knew that it wasn’t the time or place to ague, so I grabbed Zoran’s had and walked her back to the car. Nora drove us home.
We waited for days to hear something about Zinc’s condition, but we couldn’t get anything out of O’Shay besides “It will be okay.” Then finally, I walked into Dr.O’Shay’s room determined to get an answer.
“Doctor, please tell me the truth. What’s wrong with Zinc? Why hasn’t she come home yet?” I said somewhat scared of the truth.
Dr.O’Shay hung his head and motioned for me to sit. I sat on his bed and the doctor had that face on like he was about to tell me something that I would always regret hearing.
“Astro,… I fixed Zinc’s body, but I can’t really fix her. Her A.I. drive was ruined, Astro. Even if I were to give her a new one it would just be another robot in Zinc’s body.” Dr.O’Shay said.
I had no idea what to say. I walked out of the room and stumble up the stairs. As I was passing in front of Zoran and Zinc’s room I heard Zoran talking.
“Don’t worry, little kitten, Mama will come home.” Zoran said.
I opened the door and walking into her room. I plopped into the chair and before I could say anything to Zoran the tears started streaming down my face and my voice disappeared in my grief.
