Pfft I'm not even done with the last chapter. You're a pretty fast writer. It'd take me like weeks at a time to upload a new chapter. You've got skills.

At some point I might run out of gas on this. Right now this writing has become a bit addictive. I can actually FEEL the endorphins flowing when I get a great story idea suddenly flash before my eyes.
Yesterday I suddenly came up with a few dynamite ideas for additional elements to this story.

I would have to confess that the kind words of encouragement from both of you here and on ff.net are a source of inspiration (hint). I also must give credit to all of the other great stories by DCP, DR and others for inspiration. I can only hope that my stuff is as readable and as much fun as yours are.

I don't know how other writer's brains work but I know I'm a very visual thinker. When I was a kid I got an erector set and I would imagine putting the pieces together in my head. I would literally build something over and over in my mind till it was perfect and then when I actually assembled it for real it would be perfect. I think I'm constructing my fiction in the same way. I was literally standing on the gantry tower with Atom in my mind and saw how it looked from up there as I wrote about it.

Speaking of the devil, D.R. Just posted a new chapter. Now waiting on DCP and MG99.

it's the "users manual" for the SpaceX Falcon-9 rocket! Yup, they posted it on line as a free download.

Whaaaaat? Is it OK if I find that weird? I mean, it's also super cool. Just weird. It's SO good to know that if I'm EVER on board, I'll know how to use it. SHEESH, I can't even set a VCR.

Well actually SpaceX does the launching, they don't sell the rockets (not yet, anyway, and NASA would be the first customer). The manual is more of a guide to the owner of the cargo being launched into orbit. The guide is slanted toward geosynchronous orbit satellites, which ISN'T the mode I was interested in!

Gosh, I was able to read it and understand most of it. And this stuff IS ROCKET SCIENCE!
