I'm already familiar with Night on Bald Mountain and Ave Maria, because of watching Fantasia as a child. (that movie is best :3) And I also got the Charlie Daniels joke- I thought it was kinda corny. It irritated me that Cobalt "instinctively" knew how to play the violin; that's just... nope.

Please oh please never bring back that horrible idea ever again. You shouldn't have made it so religious in the first place; it made it seem hackneyed and totally out of place from where the story was originally heading.

Well, it should have been evident that Cobalt has knowledge he isn't aware of available to him from his connection to the network (and Isaac).
Anyway, the theological idea was a bit of a leap of faith (pun intended), and not one I'm too likely to return to, unless I come up with a compelling enough idea to justify it (not likely). It's possible I might want to explore the idea again, but it WON'T be an Astroboy story.

Speaking of which .... I'm now working on something completely different which shouldn't annoy anybody. Maybe you've already seen the first part.
