Okay, finally I've drawn Astro.
But only his head. :D
This is the best I can do on the artboards:

http://www.classicgaming.com/kirby/artboard3.htm

Press "Load", then find and click the file that says, "Astro's Head" then click ok.
Hope you'll like it. :D

 You did that with a mouse? Very good work. I shake too much to draw with a mouse. I have since switched to a trackball, but have not tried drawing. [/b][/quote]
Yep. I can draw the best drawings I can using the mouse. :)
It takes practice.
Why don't you try drawing Astro's head with it? :P
Just for practice.
And I promise, I won't laugh. ;)

I can't draw with a mouse. I have tried and tried, but I just cant do it. Then again I am left handed, and every mouse I have ever used was designed to be used in the right hand. I rekon that might have something to do with it.

Then again, I am pretty sucktacular with a pencil and ink in my left hand, and I have been, er, "studying" drawing for over 25 years. I guess that would indicate that my total lack on any talent would be a factor as to why I can not draw with a mouse, too?

I DID draw a 3/4 profile (the eglacias pose, heh) of astroboy's head whe nI was about 7 or 8 that turned out respectable. I have no idea where that is tho si I can not scan it and upload it. No great loss tho as every pic here is better than anything I could do, or have done.
three and a half years.. for what?

Your drawing doesn't show up for me.

It didn't?
As in you didn't follow the instructions (click "Load", then find and click the file that says, "Astro's Head", then press ok)?
Or the web won't show? [/b]

There doesn't appear any 'Load'- field to click on, I just get a pink frame with a small red cross on the upper left  .
Maybe there's a problem with the web server?

:) I think every attempt of drawing Astro or any Tezuka character is worthwhile to post here, no matter how "good" or "bad" (those are relative and subjective terms anyway) they are. I'm sure Jeffbert's as well as your attempt might be far superior than what I had perpetrated as shown on page 1 of this thread.

Hmmm...
I think its possible that this web isn't suitable for you seeing.
You might want to make it suitable by changing your web server, or checking your firewall.

If that doesn't work, I'll try getting this pic in another way. B)

Strange Wings can't change any "web server" as it is the thing that serves the data (as the name says) ;) I guess you meant the web client (the browser).

I'm not much of a computer maniac, but I know a few things about computer tech.
I was only in computer class for only half the school year. ;)
I guess I need to learn more about it. :D

It's more about knowing the good names than really knowing technically what it is. It works like a restaurant: the server gives you the meal, and as a client you receive the meal. Now just replace the meal by HTML pages and here you are. Easy ;)

Wait! You say I am a computer maniac?

Hey, sorry to post this too lately, but my comp got mad (turning off by itself), so it was on repair for about 2 weeks. -__-''
Well, this is my first drawing of Astro (I needed these studies for my comic). Tell me what you think! ;)
