Thanks, Astroboy is a series i will grow to love more and more because of the characters he encounters like Denkou. I already adore Astroboy, glad to find his story is more complex than i thought.

Denkou is definatly a girl, because Astro says "she" when he talks about her.

Well, it depends on the language There are rumors that in the Japanese version, Denkou is referred as "he" I never had the occasion to check myself though

in the video games Denkou is reffered to as a `he` , he even has a boyish voice but i heard in the 2003 anime Denkou is called `a girl robot` 0______o

I think it is different in the Japanes than it is in the ELVersion. Denkou is a 'male' robot in the JLV.
