You did her hair very well.
And seriously with a little practice your drawing will improve quick. When I was 12 my drawing style resembled yours very much, but much less detailed and I couldn't draw grownups properly. They ended up looking like oversized kids.

I joined this forum in late 2013 when I was 15 going on 16. Ignore my oldest posts, they embarrass me so much that I've considered permanantly leaving the forum more than once. I've grown out of my fangirling phase over Black Jack, Atom and Uran ages ago but the memories still embarrass me at times... 
Though, I try to be more open-minded about it and accept it as an "interesting stage of my life".

At first I tried drawing her with braids, but that didn't work out.
Then I looked at Wato Chiyoko's hairstyle and tried that. A little better, but not good enough. Then I looked at Atomu and tried letting Yuuki's hair stick up at both sides slightly (though more visible from the back than the front). That worked out.
