Word of...... um...... description.
My friend and I, also a member of this forum, started this piece yesterday. Each character was drawn on a seperate piece of paper, edited, and then put together as one image in Paint. Queereye4theblueguy did the character on the left, and the right side of Denkou's face. I did Skunk on the right and the left side of Denkou's face. We were really experimenting with color, and I'm pleased with the outcome. Inspiration was mainly from, and this is only me speaking, Japanese masks and kabuki theater, where the men would almost always wear make-up. This being, of course, because women were not allowed to take part. So yes, Skunk is wearing eye-makeup. And lipstick. I generally enjoy drawing certain sexs acting or dressing in a way that would seem ironic, or not the way they are "supposed" to be dressed. It gives me a new perspective on things. It makes it more interesting. We're taking a risk posting this here, mainly because I'm well aware of some people being offended by this sort of thing. I hope you're not. I really don't think anyone will make a big deal out of it, but I had to voice my concern.
Enjoy!
