There was this skype chat between me, April and Ghost (actually it was really just those two, I had a bad throat from my cold and could only cough once for yes, twice for no-er moving on) where Ghost was showing art a pal had done on an older Astro for his fic.

Somehow amongst the talks/coughing on broader shoulders, cheekbones and moustaches (don't ask) I got reminded of a piece of Japanese sketch I came across months back where Astro looked about 16 or 18, so I went back to fish it out and changed it about to match the Astro from Ghost's story Astro Boy 2085.

So for those who've read the fic or have always wondered what our hero would look like older, eat your hearts out!



To note I didn't draw this or the city, I simply edited over by adding the hair, eyes, clothes and colors.

I think it's a really good edit picture. If there was one thing wrong with it, it would be the detail on the clothes compared to Astro himself. But I like it.

It's because they're real clothes put on a drawing, I couldn't really find any drawn clothes tha matched what you were looking for so I went for those instead ^_^ meep

Nice work on the edit, Acorn. I like the comic art too. Did you draw it? I'd also like to see the original before the edit for comparison to fully appreciate the edited version. Cheers! xD
