Great job so far! I like how you changed up Astro and Cora's story. It makes it very interesting.

I'm liking it a lot! You've got those multiple threads going already!
And yes, I especially enjoyed Atom's idea for where to relocate Mike

I've started working on the next chapter, but at a more leisurely pace. I may settle into an update schedule of about 3 chapters per fortnight.
I've had another story idea that I could never develop. This one is a scifi story that doesn't involve Astro, the main story idea comes from NASA's Kepler mission. Today I had a brainstorm on how to write it as a sequel to the Contact movie-book.

Hah hah, you said fortnight. Sorry, I don't know why I think that's funny.
I would love to hear more about your Kepler mission idea. Everybody poo-pooed the Contact movie, but I always thought it was a creative and very out-of-the-box idea about interspecies communication.
Oh, and now I'm following you, but you probably saw that already.
Oh and have you seen that UTUBE video with Commander Chris Hadfield singing David Bowie's 'Space Oddity' on the international space station? I just caught it on Facebook, and it was crazy awesome. I wish I could have been an astronaut.

I guess few people on this side of the pond (Atlantic ocean) ever use that word. it's been ingrained into my head after seeing a VERY bad engineering joke about useless engineering units, such as velocity measured in "furlongs per fortnight".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FFF_systemOh and Commander Chris Hadfield appears in the next chapter of "Dragon Rider" without his guitar.
If you REALLY want to know my story outline for "Second Contact", I'll PM it to you. But it might be a major spoiler.
