Sometimes I get these ideas out of nowhere for possible fan fiction crossovers. One that just entered my mind was one between Astro boy and Rug Rats. What's interesting here is the possibility of some cool interaction between Tommy Pickles, Chucky Finster and Chi-tan! I can also see Angelica Pickles interacting with Uran.

Stu Pickles (Tommy's father) is an inventor and I could see him winning a contract to work at the Institute of Science. (Astro vs Reptar?)

I haven't actually started to write something like this yet, just brainstorming.

What do you guy's think of this? (Hey who remembers the Rug Rats TV cartoon? My twins grew up with them and went nuts over the movies.)

I hated that show, I think. At the very least, I didn't think it was very good.

Well that's not the only idea I just came up with. I may start a different crossover on FF soon, but I want to finish the two stories here and the one on FF first.

Hmm, I don't think of that TV show much, I'm afraid. No offense but I think it's slightly shallow. An Atomu / Studio Ghibli film cross-over would be interesting though. Or another Atomu / Black Jack or Mitsume ga Tooru crossover.

Well I've started blocking out a crossover between "Kiki" and Astro. The story will take place toward the end of Kiki's year away from home. She decides to leave the port city to live in Metro City for the remaining two months of her stay away from home.

I'm going to finish the other stories I'm working on before developing this one further.

Sounds wonderful! This sounds silly but could you put Mikuko and her Korean friend You-Jung into the story? If you say yes, than please any me any questions / info you need.

I remember watching Rugrats when I was little. This thread brings back memories. I also remember the Rugrats in paris and Rugrats go wild movies as a kid. Brings back memories.

Mostly, the only cartoon shows that I hate are Adventure time and Regular show. And of course, pretty much all of them on adult swim. Teeny bopper western cartoons, Destroy, Destroy.

I dislike Adventure Time.

Same here. I thought I was the only one in the world who dislikes that show.
