New one-shot.

Strong content warning for this one. I just came up with this random (and viciously evil) idea earlier, and was able to churn it out, surprisingly.

Maybe, more like a bunch of readers shocked into a mindless horde of Zombies.

Sorry 'bout that. :T I took it a bit too far this time, I think. It's not even that good, when I think back on it...

i hope you don't feel so bad about it as to want to pull it off the site.
The story has its merits, shocking or not. You won't need to retract it to write other stories, nobody expects a writer's collected works to form a real 'history', and you can have many canon treads running in parallel. The writers of the Superman comics killed 'suppie' off many times without later saying "just kidding!".

Hm, I don't think that any of my stories are related, really. They do share some commonalities in regards to headcanons, but... they aren't connected at all, as far as my sluggish, sleep-deprived mind can recall.

People really shouldn't be that shocked considering the rating, category, and the clear warning you gave. I haven't read it yet, but I can tell it's not going to be sunshine and rainbows.

She does deep and dark very, very well.

I don't, as a habit, "go there," but that's not to say I haven't imagined Astro "losing it" (one reason I'm so riveted by that scene in 2003 where he literally yells When are we going to stop fighting each other?? He was SERIOUSLY P.O.ed)

And living with Cobalt's endless angst as being the "1st runner-up Astro Boy" has GOT to be more than slightly unnerving, because Astro gets stuck dealing with all the $&@ - and then he's got to boost Cobalt's ego.

Rage runs deep, as does pain. This story shows why it needs to be kept under control (or a healthy release of pressure now and then!)
