It was pitch dark and cold. I could only hear slight whispers coming from outside. They kept telling me to wake up. I couldn't though I was too weak. Just then a bolt of blue light surged through me. I was given the strangth to open my eyes. I saw...

an old guy he said "what shall we call her" a boy with spiky hair said "hmmmm what about......ummmmmm..... Zinc?" then a girl in pink said "yes Zinc is a nice name, i like it". Then...

I decided that I wanted to stand, like the two of them were. I braced myself and moved my legs off the table I was lying on. Then I fell, my legs not quite ready for this yet. I landed flat on my face.
"First thing we gotta do is teach you reflexes before you flatten your face," said the girl in pink with a chuckle as she offered her hand to help me up. I grabbed it, and slowly stood up. My legs shook. Finally, when I was eye to eye with her I said,"rrre-rre-re-flex-es??"

[Astro Forever]

Marveling, the girl turned to the boy with the spiky hair and said "I think we did it!" Turning to me, she asked: "What is your name?". I didn't know what she meant and had to review the past minute. "My name is Zinc", I replied. Grabbing my hand, the girl led me to the door. I could see a light behind it....

[Thanks for the suggestion about the pace, Novacain! It didn't bother me in that round (it had all started and ended before I was even aware of it, haha), but for sure if you wanted to count me in, I wouldn't have been able to keep up with such a pace! ]

"I'm Zoran," the girl in pink said, opening the door. The light became infinitely stronger. My memory bank revealed this light to be the star at the center of the universe - called The Sun. And it was beautiful.
"I'm Astro," the spiky haired boy suddenly said from behind me, jolting me back to reality. "and you shouldn't stare at the sun, it's terrible for your lenses," Astro explained.
"Ohhh, okay," I responded. "Where we going, anyways?"...

"We're going home, Zinc." Astro said as he put me in a yellow car. Once they all got in I heard the engine rev and then every thing started moving. Objects and buildings zoomed past. We came to a stop infront of a cozy looking house. "We're home." zoran said while stepping out of the car. We......... (I probably should stop writing in this because since Zinc is sort of my baby I would probably get way to into this )

We all went in the cozy home. Zoran said "Now I finally have somebody to play with!", but the robot with the spiky hair replied "There's no time for that, Zoran. We have an important mission to carry!" I heard a sound, and the door opened. It was a woman...
