Does Anybody Want To Roleplay?

It's been almost six months since the last time we tried a roleplay on this forum (this just being due to an argument between players), and I'm beginning to seriously consider restarting a roleplay thread, what with all the new members who are probably into this sort of thing. 
Would anybody be up for this?
If there's anybody, we'll use this thread for claiming characters and the actual RP. I'll take this moment to reveal guidelines...
1) Respect the other members.
While you participate in any games, have some consideration of your fellow users to avoid any arguments, misunderstandings or slander. You'll have a better time here if everybody's having a good time.
2) No posting inappropriate or offensive material.
The moderators hold every right to intervene if we or any user notice you've posted something offensive - this includes anything brutally violent, sexually-explicit, racist, homophobic or sexist. This isn't to censor you, this is to make sure that very young users don't walk in on porn or hate speech.
3) Original characters are perfectly fine in the story, but don't let them hijack the plot.
I hold absolutely no bias against fan characters, just as long as they're not being made out to completely overshadow the rest of the cast (including canon characters and other original characters) or to be ultra powerful, because this makes other players feel inferior. Otherwise, if you'd like to play with a fan character, go ahead!
If there's any other questions you have, just let me know. I'll hold off of claiming characters for myself until everybody else has a chance to do so. I don't want to lead this RP (in my mind, everybody should have an equal share of control), but I will kinda be the one who makes sure everybody's doing okay.
Also, if this gets off the ground and people are interested, are there any plot suggestions?
