No, there's still another three issues, and the ending there is pretty abrupt and confusing anyway. The following is verbatim...

Astro: That's very nice, but I have to get back to Earth. I have a science project due Monday.
((Group laughter))
Astro: What's so funny?
ENDUT! HOCH HECH!

Believe me, if the series ended with Astro dying, that review would have dissolved into sheer hysteria. (And when the twentieth review comes, there'll be something like an online party.)

Random ending lol XD Hey you should do a review on the Astro Boy Prequel comic afterward, the plot in that was just...I can't even find the words, but I can see it as something you'd chop up beautifully into sushi ^_^;

You mean that one with the lizard girl and the blob people and the pink car? Last September I thumbed through each issue in the shop, and I think my brain crashed, so I never bought them. Luckily there are other methods...

I saw both copies of the movie comic and the prequel together, and being the geek I was brought them. I knew the prequel sucked, but I couldn't resist buying it.

And I hate lizard girl, cheating on Cora, the rotten nerve! XD

Yes there are...LOL :w00t:
A recurring anti Crown theme....
Anti monarch scenarios!
Hmmmm.
Chazza? :lol:
The constant fetching of secure info I found intriguing...
Distracting but intriguing...
But why call it a "Prequel to the movie?"
It should be a Sequel to the movie...

Well it's not actually tied with the movie. It's like some spin off film or one reflecting a different outcome. Say if Tenma had accepted Astro straight away and he already knew he was a robot. This could explain why his friends, the RRF and President Stone are not in the comic.

But the word Prequel for a title shouldn't really have been used. Perhaps Planet of the Lizards would've been more suited? ^_^;

In my opinion, THIS is the most epic page in the comic - look at the last panel...

I'm sure Uran thought so when she designed it... :lol:
