What age of child is Zoran made to be?

It kind of bounces around in each series. In the manga, it's mentioned once that Uran is going into first grade (thus she's the same age in the 1960's series), but then she's in Kindergarten in the 1980's series.

As for the 2003 series...I read the following on a Japanese character listing site so it should be correct, but Uran in the 2003 series is supposed to be a seven year old. Astro is nine in that version, so it's pretty small an age gap there.
