My order from Amazon.co.jp arrived today AND *drumroll*

There are no English subtitles

I regret that you had thought that there were English subs. This thread was a follow-up to an earlier thread in which I am sure that I made clear that no subs were included. However, the stories are told as much, if not more by the video than the audio. Feel free to ask me any questions about the episodes.

I myself have more than a few boxed sets of Tezuka's animated series, & though I well knew no subs were included, I eagerly purchased them.

There is an episode guide featured on the official Tezuka site, & though it offers only sparse info, it is better than none.

BTW, which set did you buy?

I bought "complete set 1" and "complete set 2". It's interesting because it's a repackaging of collections 1-3 and 4-6 (indicated by the booklets included).

How much did they cost in US dollars?? I really want very very much to own them someday!

AUD $240 for both sets together, plus AUD $30 postage.
