The Empire of Machines

What if Atom learned that one day the robots could revolt against humans and start the Empire of Machines which humanity is either slaved or slaughtered by the robots?
It's something like the Terminator series of movies which humans are seem hunted and slaughtered by the machines.
I believe that a negative future is what anti-AI robot groups would fear the most and knowing Atom, he would never let such a horrible future to happen.
Even if he had to keep living on and guide both robots and humans, no matter if his friends would not able to live long as himself.
But, we still know something very important: the only way which AI Robots could revolt is by being chased, abused and destroyed by humans.
So, what the extremists shown in the series mostly have is paranoia, a stupid paranoia which even led them to hurt other humans and make frauds in order to fool humanity that robots should not coexist with them.
As far the extremist characters goes we had Katari (his name stands for fraud, pretty much what he does), Lamp (who despite being saved by a AI robot, he ironically thought the robots don't deserve a mind and should be terminated) and Kato (who mainly thought about making destruction turn in a sick way of art).
But, who knows if a robot would end up being corrupt just like the humans got?
