Can Astro sweat ?

I'm sure I've seen Astro cry in many of the Manga and Anime episodes. He is also shown panting, nearly out of breath on many occasions. I clearly remember a scene in the very first anime from '63 where he is panting after a bout with Zog. Yet he clearly does NOT need to breathe, he can fly though space and dive deep underwater for hours at a time.

Yeah, I think all that puffing and panting and faux sweating is programming to make us see him as more human (and it WORKS!!) XD

It must have been in some other thread, but I am sure I once said that those things are likely to convey emotion. I have a few frames of Atom panting, some even make his breath visible.
