I did not mind any of the voice actors to be honest. Granted Candi made Atom sound more punkish than he actually is, but it was still cute and fit well with the English language. I loved Tenma's English voice, it was just bang on I think with how that series portrayed him.
Very refreshing.

Hi there! For me the 2003 series was also the first time I had seen "Astro Boy" but I think it is one of the best cartoon/anime series I will ever see.
I really love that series, it is perfect in every single aspect:animation, music, all the characters and specially its plot -from its "born" to the last stand against Tenma all the events develop very solidly-. I even bought the DVDs a while after.
It deserved much more than only 50 episodes, but as a tribute to the original anime the 2003 series does it flawlessly; the only thing I may regret is that several secondary characters (specialy Atlas, Epsilon and Delta) don´t appear too much.
