ANTI-AMERICAN SENTIMENT ON THE WIKIPEDIA ASTRO BOY PAGES!

A good number of us tried to get this fellow to not be so aggressive and negative, but it fell on deaf ears. We finally had no choice but to ban him. But then a number of our members actually followed him to a forum he created on his own!

So instead of accepting that his manner was too extreme, he began bad-mouthing this forum and me, in particular. It was (and still is) very painful for me (talk about cyber-bullying) - especially when I learned he was talking about me and ABO negatively on Tumblr.

I do wish Wikipedia would ban him. That would stop the destruction of the pages related to Astro Boy - but maybe that is against their policy?

It's not my wish to block him from his opinions, but to not state them as fact, and degrade people who might disagree with his viewpoints.

I know. I wish he hadn't done that to you, April. It makes both you look bad, and the forum look bad. A shame, because his deviant art club is filled with fans that I think would have a great time on here, if they could see past his nonsense. Then they'd get to see that we're actually a pretty good group who actually respect other peoples opinions. Heck, they'd get to see that you're a pretty nice person as well. But I guess that's just how things are in the world.

Frankly, even though I don't post here much, I think you guys are some of the nicest people I've ever come across and it's really not fair that he had to go spreading that slander.
It just feels like, whether he's trying to or not, he's starting to create kind of a rift in the fandom and it really bothers me. I just hope he somehow manages to see what he's doing before things get too out of hand.

We never really wanted to block this person from this forum (you'll notice I'm not using a name) - but we really had no choice. Sounds like Wikipedia goes through a few rounds of trying to make sure the individual is gently guided to not compromise facts with opinions, but that they will block people who are effectively vandalizing specific pages.

It looks like some of the "extreme" content has been removed. Please check and advise. I'll need specific sentences that reflect inaccuracies and 'opinions" versus factual information.
