Discrimination!

I was just reading an article about how they made Astro Boy a Japanese citizen. So why didn't they do the same for Godzilla? That's discrimination! 8-) Just kidding, of course!

Godzilla has entered Japanese territory without using any registered transport. He's stil stranded trying to fill immigration paperwork. The problem is that this procedure wasn't thought for creatures with 2-meters claws instead of fingers. Not to mention occasional radiations that degrade ink and papers.

Atom was "born" in Japan, so he would be a citizen without any legal issues. Godzilla was an illegal alien.

Those are good answers. But like I said, I was just kidding. ;)
I wonder if there's any comic or cartoon character who deserves AMERICAN citizenship? Not that it will ever happen! :(
