Running gags

Ok so you know about the "animation trick" that causes Astro's hair-points to change angle in relation to the tv camera, so no matter what direction he's looking we can always see the two points. It's not really that funny, but it's kinda neat...

What other running gags do you know about, or think there should be, in the world of Astroboy?

One gag I think should be there, would be that Astro is a terrible driver. This could hail from the time Tobio took the car out for that fateful spin. Scenes could include passengers in the car freaking out, with other cars spinning out and exploding in flames seen through the rear window (as if the camera was on the hood facing into the car), with the car either making it to the destination miraculously without a scratch, or upon arrival, self destructing like the bluesmobile; or Astro always trying but never quite passing his driver's exam... Oh man that'd be funny!

Anyone else know of any real gags that are already there, or know of any that should be?

i know somthing that is in the 80's astroboy. it have to do with Uran. in about evey eps of astroboy when Uran fist ben added to the family. we see her wearing a red dress that is a bit small for her. we see her paintys some and all the time in the eps from "Uran the tom boy" to the last ep or so. that it at the time i will try to add more to here if i can think of some.

Actually I've never watched SquareBob SpongePants or whatever it is... <_< I always tend to be behind the times with the recent popular shows... Only 2 years ago did I discover Pokemon... was interesting for quite a long while (I held faith), but dayum is that show ever dragging on now... I just want to yell at the tv and tell Ash to hurry up and get his pokemon master's license, have a threesome with Misty and May (after their catfight, of course )and wrap that series up already... sheez... :angry:

About Astro driving, he could actually be a good racecar driver, he did drive the White Planet after all, but he would always have trouble driving on public roads.... ...did anyone ever see that episode of South Park when Stan Marsh's granddad took the kids out for a drive? Car's just putting along but all you see out the rear window is sheer pandemonium... ...Not that Astro would putt along, but I could see the trail of destruction...

Where's that picture of astro driving a car dressed in a chauffeur's uniform and Dr Elefun ducking down in the back seat... Quote the Doc: "Astro, maybe I should drive. Really."

Anyone else have any crazy ideas that should be or should've been in the world of Astroboy?
