What's funny Jeffbert?
I think the joke is the ZSNES referance. Usually you refer to a game's platform by it's hardware, rather than an unauthorised emulator.

What's funny Jeffbert? Do you imagine the huge dragon Fafner in his cave playing to an old SNES game, delicately handling the pad in his claws?![]()

I was careful to use the word unauthorised rather than illegal. No console manufacturer would be happy with an emulator. They make most of their money back by selling the game cartridges/discs. I think the legality of emulators varies from country to country, not to mention the emulators vs roms issue.
Having said that, I'm guessing a SNES emulator would be running obsolete and unavailable stuff, so I could well be wrong about the authorisation issue.
