I've now made up my mind--when I get the means and money, the Complete Sets will be mine!

Be aware, they are region 2. I use my PC with 1 DVD drive configured for R 2. :p irate:

DVD publishers of the world decided to divide it into zones so that if the guy who owns the rights to publish a given movie in region #1 charges more than the guy in region #2, consumersin region #1 would still be stuck with the higher prices there. Not only does the region #2 guy not have the right to distribute his discs in region #1, but if somebody buys one on eBay, it will not work in a region #1 player.

In Astroboy, this means that the Australians are stuck with the much higher prices for Madman sets than the lower prices for the American TRSI sets. :tenma:

Or, to put it simply: Regions are these little codes that keep DVDs from working outside of the country they were distributed in.

Fortunately, its pathetically easy to get around this--all you need is the right player. Just look for any player that says it does PAL to NTSC conversion (or NTSC to PAL conversion) and more than likely, its either region free, or there's a secret code you can use to make it region free.
