Mysterious episode from AB 2003 series

Postby Innocent_Eyes » 18 years ago

I was watching the Dawn of the Techno Revolution episode recently from the 2003 series, and I saw some footage that I have never seen before from some episode where this kid is in a wheelchair, and he wants to fly like Astro. Does anybody know what this footage is, or what episode this is? Is it from the Jap series?

There is also a question asked in the PS2 game from the 'Quiz Lady' and it goes something like, 'Which robot flies the children to Never Land and back?' The answer is a 'Peter Pan Bot,' but just how is this Peter Pan Bot related to the series? Is the footage used in the Techno Rev episode footage from an episode with this 'Peter Pan Bot?' :astro:

The episode you watched was not in the original series. It was made because of fear of copyright infringement by the real episode. Disney apparently has the rights to Peter Pan, which is the subject of the real episode. Dawn of -- was a really cheap attempt to keep the episode count at 50. It even includes clips from episodes yet to be shown in the English version. :p irate:

The boy in the flying chair goes with Atom to save the other kids from a well-meaning but misguided owner of an amusement park, who wants to give the kids eternal childhood. But they all have dreams about growing up & becoming adults, going into professions, etc.

Atom modifies the chair so it can fly in the open air, rather than just hover inches above the ground.

This was a topic when it first was shown; many people complained about it.

It's in my Japanese boxset, but I don't really like that episode. :( The subtitles are hard to understand, and that guy...... well, he's creepy. I'll leave it at that. :whistling:

Big mega-corporations don't either, given the way they slaughter the episodes. At least, their translations are grammatically correct :p
