Especially in the 2000s version, the similarities between Dr. Tenma and Darth Vader are strong. Even Dr. Tenma's philosophy is akin to the Sith philosophy.
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

OOH CROSSOVER TIME

How about something with the Powerpuff Girls? Uran could go as Buttercup, Nuka as Blossom, and Mindy as Bubbles (I'm not going by hair colour, but hairstyles).

Don't even get me started on a Dragonball one...
Astro = Goku
Master Roshi = Ochanimizu? [There are some aspects of Roshi's character that are a little too "brisk"...]
Launch = Livian
Puar = Uran
Krillin = Young Atlas
Bulma = Older Melmo
