I might still have that one-it was where some city worker went postal and Astro had to 'negotiate' if I recall correctly.

Not exactly! The six page story has something to do with an assistant of Dr. I. Q. Plenty going postal and Astro Boy saving the day by overcoming the doctor's latest invention! I don't want to say more because I don't want to ruin it for Fauna if she ever gets a chance to read it!

I'll be downtown tomorrow afternoon, so I'll try to see if my comic shop has it in stock. (Twentieth issue, right?) If it's more than four dollars, I can't guarantee I'll be getting it...I need to save up for a trip to Japan, and I don't really have four dollars.

Also, my latest article is up! I had more fun reading this issue, and along the way, therefore I got a bit "Carlin" while writing it...pardon my language and various innuendos throughout.

Mile High Comics have most issues available for under $2:

I'm not affiliated with them, but that's where I picked up my missing issues. Don't know what postage will be like for you.

I just checked my total (I'm missing five issues), and the total would be $28.05. I might stick with this one eBay seller who sold me issues 3-7.

(I'm in printmaking right now, and I probably should start working. :lol :)

No, No, No! The Astro Boy short story appears in the 17th issue of Speed Racer (cover-dated--Feb., 1989) not the twentieth! You can tell by the cover, because in the top right hand corner of the front cover, you will see a picture of Astro Boy "turning the page" to show inside the comic and I believe it says on the cover to the left of Astro Boy, "Six-page Astro Boy Story Inside" or something like that! [Sorry I don't know how to extract and place the quote from the previous post like you guys do!]

Oh, okay. I didn't find the 20th issue there (or the 17th, either) but there's another collector's shop in town that I'll check.

(I did find an original 1978 Blues Brothers record, if anything!)
