this thread mustve been dead for years..

anyway for any other fans here in Manila, you can get them at any Comic Quest outlets in SM Malls

an alternate would be to look for those at Comic Alley, but they primarily sell manga done in Mandarin. Though i've seen english translations from Chuang Yi.

You could also look for mangas in Power Books.. there should be quite a few branches of them located in Glorietta, Greenbelt, and in Rockwell - all located in Makati.

Oh, i forgot to mention Fully Booked in Rockwell too.

cheers ;)

Adrian doesn't come as often as he used too, but I recall him writing here a few months ago. He might see this thread.

I miss his artwork, but I assume he might have moved on to other mangas. In any case, I miss it enough that I'd still be happy to see his artwork of today, even if it's not about Astroboy. :hyo:

As far as I know, he/she is not professional, only "amateur". But I wouldn't be surprised if he/she started a career ;)

There are a few threads. I have downloaded one if his/her longest work here, you can download it here (~11Mb).
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

I believe Adrian was still too young to work, at least back then.

In my eyes, he's as good as anyone. I wouldn't be surprised either if he became a professional. He's so amazing!

I don't know, I don't think he said anything about that. My guess is that he's still drawing, but maybe not Astroboy these days, so that's why he doesn't post his art here. But who knows! :)
