There's a story that back in 1986 Tezuka's son talked to him about an idea some investment backers had to create a tezuka theme park and the old man shot it down saying he didn't his legacy to be an "unteachable object" and it was Tezuka who first proposed that a library of some sort would serve a greater purpose.

My favorite 2003 episode, and one that my wife wished should have been shown in America was the Peter Pan one with the wheelchair bound boy.

Cool pictures! I didn't know Tezuka shot down the idea of a theme park. Pitty. I'd so go to one! But you gotta respect the man for wanting to go his own path.

You gotta admit the museum fit his thinking....

Not to grand, very unique, very educational.
