It depends upon who now owns the name 'Astroboy' or "Astro Boy," both of which originated in the 1963 NBC version.

'Asutroboi' is currently used by Tezuka Co, but as to who owns it, I do not know.

i don`t think Tezuka Production will ever sue someone who ripes them off ( look at the lion king story )

I have closed this thread because your last post is inappropriate for a family-friendly forum, & I think this topic just begs for responses of this type, so it was bound to happen.

While I myself started the thread, that was long ago, & before our formulating rules & becoming moderators. I hope you are not offended by this. Although it was your post that caught my attention, this particular thread had been long forgotten until Llama resurrected it. Perhaps we should do some house cleaning & purge some old threads, but there are so many.
