I'm sure the show will return, but just in case, I suggest that we let Kids WB know that we want our little Atom. I sent them three messeges that says this:

It has come to my attention that you seem to did not play the Astro Boy series this week and are not going to play it next week as well. It doesn't make sense to cancel a series when it's only been on for 4 episodes. Please do not consider canceling Astro Boy. It's barely had a chance to really make a real impression on anyone. Thank You.

If the show doesn't return next week, i'll send another threee messeges and so one until it does return.

I think we can relax. Check Astroboytv.com. It says the next episode will air on the 21st. I don't know why we have to wait until next week, but it hasn't been canceled.

Come on people, Sony is paying for the upcoming Astroboy movie. They're not going to let the TV series disappear for good, it'll cost them too much in ticket sales, merchansiding, fanbase, etc.
Not to mention all the episodes have already been dubbed (AFAIK), so Tezuka Productions would also miss out big time if it got dropped for good from the US market.

But by all means request its screening, just be nice. B)

I was wrong. I check Tvguide channel. But I still think the show hasn't been cut off completely. I have a feeling this has something to do with their Valinteens weeks and Astro just didn't fit in this category.

Stations do that, they show a few episodes to test it out a bit to see what the target audience should be. E-mailing them is a good idea.

i just emailed kids wb and i said that if it doesnt come back then they just lost a viewer. and i think if it doesnt come back all of us should boycott the kids wb till they do! ne one with me?

Well, at any rate, it seems to have been a last-minute schedule change. The Kids WB webpage has both the new schedule and the links to Astroboy on the left collumn and the icons accross the top.

Do not wait to email WB! The pull-down has shows listed, and if they take Astroboy off the list, it will be more difficult to register protest. They probably do not read all the messages, but do take note of the number of messages pertaining to each show. If not for that, I would also advise using Static Shock for the subject, and saying how much you prefer Astroboy instead.

If you use dial-up, email them, disconnect and reconnect, and mail again. This will ensure that your ip address is different each time, & you will not be identified as the same person sending many messages. & remember to make them different each time.
