Each figure is packaged with no way to know whats inside. Japan have several of these trading figure type things. I just had to keep buying them to open and see inside. cybotron: how big is the pack? if it is a specially put together one then it might be one of each. Otherwise could be like the big boxes that hold each box (one box holds about 12 individual boxes).
Kimi no kokoro de, catch the future!

WHat the hell kind of twisted commercial money scam is that?
I am sorry.. but that is just plain wrong IMO.
I remember when I was a kid (all those decades ago) whenever a new 'family' movie came out (ie, one that the commercial market could go sick with merchandise associations) there used to be 'collector cards' that went with them. You would buy a sealed pack of cards what had anywhere between 5-7 cards per back and one stick of chewing gum. The problem with this was you had no idea which 5 cards were in the pack. Almost every kid I knew used to buy these obsessively if that likes the movie thaey were from. spending all their pocket money and LUNCH MONEY on them (and then going hungry) just so they could get the whole set of cards.
I never understood that mentality. To me that was the marketers stealing the kids money. Thats pathetic and abusive.
And even wors thatn that, you can only divide a sausage roll so many ways and I couldnt see my mates not eat. so the bastards got me as well and i never bought a single pack.
Seriously. Now they do it with TOYS in Japan?
Hinestly, I feel sick.
That is a discusting practice IMO.

Sorry for the rant. I had to get that out.

cybotron:
at a recent convention in Australia they had boxes of these figures for sale. I bought 8 boxes before i managed to collect one of each figure. I know have them all sitting on my shelf! Lucky for me i have friends willing to buy the 3 extras off me for the same price i bought them ^_^
The figures are excellant quality and almost exactly the same as thos ein the picture above (the pictures for advertisement add a more polished look that isnt on the figures)
Well my figures arrived. The package consisted of 5 small boxes wrapped up in celophane. Each box had the same graphics, so you could not tell what was in it. However, each small box had been opened and taped shut again. They must have picked through a bunch of these and repacked them so that you get each of the 5 figures....
These figures then have to be taken out of their clear plastic wrap and then assembled. I only opened two boxes... And unwrapped one figure... "Denkou..." Not bad... Very nice. By the way... How much did you spend for yours?

AU$10 a box. So $50 all up.
I'm sure i could get it cheaper but i'm not complaining.
Well I spent $36.00 all toll... They are nice figures, but I think the wholesale cost to be .20-.30cents per box. The composite resin stuff should come up before long, and now I know I can trust XL.... That's worth it.
