Well, thanks to DrFrag, I was happy with finally just being able to get a screenshot from the vid so I didn't even think about making it animated...

I have to say it's a very good idea, but I'm not sure I'd have fun capturing one image after another and adjusting the frame exactly the same way on each one... Unless you tell me how to make an animated gif straight from a vid...?

So torch/lamp might indeed have gone too far in attacking Astroboy. And the Tenma devices could not be defeated. And once the Tenba devices were activated even Tawashi wouldn't help him.

He appears in episodes 17 (the rise of Pluto) and 32 (the secret of the Blue Knight). In episode 32 he appears as one of the main characters. He also appears in other episodes as a minor character. Here are some pics so you know how he looks like in the 2000s

but later he was shot and if you look good you can see a candle on his head blowing out
