It looks like a alien Astro.

I usually add my own flair to characters. If people always drew characters the way they really looked, it would be very boring. Has anyone listened to the song?

I think the smooth background puts a lot of focus on the character. Nice technique.

There's a real ring to Astro in this song - especcially near the end when it gets all passionate.

I'm going to assume that this is Astro's homage to his creation and those who enrich his life. It's a good idea (and forgive me if I revert to Black Jack here, it's the thing I know most about) that I've been thinking about a lot, mostly through the character Pinoco. Life is precious, more so to those who are the direct product of artificial work and ingenious scienece and amazing people who can make it happen.

On another note, this is a GREAT idea for a thread. I hope we can get a lot of ideas up here. Because this is all I do with my life; I listen to music and match it to the character.

If this were a generic Tezuka thread I'd be all over this bad boy. Unfortunatly I need a little more time for Atom as it is not my specialty.

This song reminded me of Uran the second I heard it. It's playful, happy, and so gosh-darn cute. I really was upset to realize that I was addicted to this song, but like all DDR music, it has that effect. There really isn't much else to say. It's simply.... URAN. As for the picture..... um.... very Sailor Moon-esque is the only thing that comes to mind. I suppose it's appropriate for the given song.

DENKOU'S THEME



Title: "Ningen no Kodomo" (Human Child)
Artist: Akino Arai
Album: Sora no Niwa

I remember I was first listening to this song a few years ago, and I just kept staring at a picture of Denkou, I couldn't believe how much it fit. This song, in actuality, is about bullying, which also fits Denkou for a number of reasons. Akino Arai has done theme songs from such popular anime as Macross Plus, Please Save My Earth, and Outlaw Star. She traditionaly works with Yoko Kanno, another favorite of mine. This particular song was from Outlaw Star. When I hear this song, I always get sad and feel somewhat haunted, but everyone will have a different perspective on it. Akino's child-like voice is perfect for Denkou.
