Exactly. The interesting part is when the brain is itself partially "enhanced", for example memory enhancements. I'm sure that most people have already imagined a whole encyclopedia readily-available in the memory. But how far the association between electronic implants and the brain would still be human?

The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

True, but that would be kind of cool having a cyborg for a friend though. Like the cyborg would protect you from bullies, muggers ECT. But would the cyborg have to sleep or eat? It is half human.
