His tachyon receiver? Don't laugh, there are actually people around who claim to have already invented devices for converting zero point/tachyon energy into common electric energy. Youtube is full of that stuff.
The best one I spotted so far was the presentation of the Testatika, a device that's supposed to work exactly as mentioned.
Its inventor is swiss (..hum..) and is referred to by everyone here as 'daddy'. He's also the head of the overly religious and controversial community 'Methernita'. IMO, that should say all. :D

Here is the link to this fabulous paradigm changing invention.

Ah, the good old tachyon device :D Does "daddy" have a working driver for Windows for this device? ;)
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

"tachyon_receiver.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close!
Send error report to Methernita.org, attn: 'daddy'."

(looks at driver describtion)
"Last updated on february 1955"

(tries to deinstall tachyon_receiver)
"tachyon_receiver cannot be deinstalled due to zero point energy fluctuations in the reg_key."

(bangs head on keyboard several times)

Yes, it reminds me a lot of a similar group around here. I never expected anybody to make such claims.

You knew I wasn't meant to be taken seriously, right? :D

On topic again:
I've learned that the laws of gravity don't seem to get respected by any kind of moving objects & subjects (including Astro of course).

And what's even more: they must have air in space! Why else would we hear noises of rockets and of Atlas' lightning sabre?
