The 2003 series is locked out in Canada (same as with Hulu) but the 80's series is not. Too bad, but one out of two isn't bad. Certain regions probably won't get to watch it at all. Of course, there are some ways around that.

I found yesterday an interesting software, that can download videos from most popular websites. I tried it today, and found out it works very well, at least for youtube. I just copy-pasted the URL of the video (as it appears in the edit field on top), and got a working .avi file.

According to Justin Mann of TechSpot.com HULU is "one of a few sites that media giants are backing" as copyright owners are "hoping to avoid a loss of viewership to sites that broadcast their content without permission" (http://www.techspot.com/news/34518-disney-takes-ownership-stake-in-hulu.html).

Likewise, in Manga, Rumiko Takahashi offers online manga for the same purpose (http://manga.about.com/b/2009/04/23/new-rumiko-takahashi-manga-rin-ne-debuts-and-inuyasha-ramps-up.htm).
