There's no way he could have bagged a chick that good looking. :shifty:

He seems like a lovable grandpa. He gets vote for second most hug-able Astro Boy character. (Right behind :astro: and just in front of :tenma :)

Yeah, Elefun fits him perfectly. I always noticed in the 60's series, a lot of the characters had humerous names (Ex. Mitsuko was dubbed as Twin Tales because of her double pig tales) In the 80's series many of the characters had names that were close to their Japanese names, but they kept Dr. Elefun's name (although they omited his first name Pacadurmus (LOL!)).
You're not a joke, you fit right in!

I forgot to mention! In the Canadian dub of the 1980's series, he actually had two different names. He calls himself Dr. Cole Green in "The Robot Circus", but then it's Professor Peabody all throughout the rest of the series.

In the Marine express (made in 1979, i think...) It shows Dr. Elefun when he was younger.
He looked funny, his hair was very fluffy. :p
Than again, he was playing someone else... :d oh:

He was also Polynesian in that movie.

@fauna - Cole Green? Boy, that's out of left field. When I first saw that, I wanted to say "It's people! Cole Green is PEOPLE!" (If no one got that joke, I will be depressed...)

Sorry to depress you, but I for one couldn't get it. I tried saying Cole Green over and over to myself out loud, even really fast to try to see if it sounded like any word related to people. But I'm stumped. Can you or anybody please explain?

I think Tawashi Bus Hat was referring to the movie 'Soylent Green', featuring Charlton Heston.
The correct line would go "Soylent Green is PEOPLE!! We've got to stop them—SOMEHOW!!!", yelled by Heston towards the movie's end.
