But I think Astro would just listen to songs meant for young kids, or songs sung by a children's choir, like his own theme song.

I don't think that he would listen to anything like hip hop or rap and it's possible that he would listen classic rock, after all, I've been listening to it for almost my entire life.

Yeah, but remember how he was raised -- by a world famous scientist, who lives in a luxurious home, with a butler robot and stretch limo. His dad was going to take him to some high-level scientific conference. And what music does Tenma like? He activated Astro (in the original anime) to Beethoven's Fifth Symphony (Tezuka was a HUGE Beethoven fan), and in the 03 anime Tenma played a monster pipe organ.

My guess is that Astro can (and does) appreciate any kind of music, but probably listens to the most challenging of classical music, and serious heavy metal (studies show that people who like one of those styles also tend to like the other and not anything in between), and quite possibly jazz. He's probably least likely to enjoy "lite" music or ballads or soft rock.

How do I "know" this? well . . . . . . . . . . I just do!

I duuno, he is from Japan after all, so he might actually favor Techno. I've said before though, he truthfully would listen to anything and appreciate any of them. Well... except for maybe M&M or whatever his name is, or any cuss music like rap.

Well we know his 09 self liked Western films (dancing cowboy, drawing the squirt bottle like a gun) so I wonder if he'd like that...that western theme.
