Yeah, and when I was in kindergarten and I watched Finding Nemo, that night I dreamt I was a fish. Three years later, I still completely remember that dream (even now I do!).

Wow pretty crazy thread. Fauna's dream sounds pretty insane, I have a theory that maybe Tezuka's spirit might have visited you in your dream. But I'm not really sure if I believe in that kind of stuff. Most of the time I do not remember my dreams at all. When I'm asleep it's mainly like a gap in time I guess. I did have something similar happen to me last year though.

Now I have mentioned this before in a PM to someone, I personally don't feel comfortable posting about this because I think it might make me sound like I'm crazy, a crazy fanboy or a liar. When I was still doing online home school about a year ago and my depression was very bad, this was the same time I became aware of Tezuka and Astro Boy mainly caught my attention. (To this day I don't know why I became interested in it, I normally would never ever call Astro 'cute' because when I say stuff like that I feel less heterosexual but I think Astro's 'cuteness' may have something to do with it)

Anyways the dream was kinda foggy, I don't remember the background too well. I remember that Astro was there (for some reason I didn't recognize who he was during the dream) he basically told me to stop stressing out over things and that things may suck right now but if I pull through things will get better in the end. He said something of that nature, I didn't notice this until after I woke up. It did sorta affect me a bit, because I felt like a fictional character actually tried to commune with me and first I thought I was starting to go crazy and scared the hell out of me. Although the message was positive, it still affected me a bit.

Believe it or not that's the truth. If I do remember my dreams, most of the time I'm doing something I normally do. Like walking down the street, typing something on my computer or doing something in a video game. Then a few days later I will find myself doing the exact same thing I was doing in the dream I had nights before. I've had dreams like those for years and those have also scared me a bit.

EDIT: Wow the paragraphs actually split!

I actually had a dream a couple nights ago where I was Astro, standing on a dock (I don't know where) and I turn around to see Atlas. I raise up my arm to turn it into an arm cannon, and then I miss the shot. I panic and fly backwards, for some strange reason, and fell into the water still running from him. I can't remember what happened after that.

I too have plenty of Astro related dreams, almost every night. If it isn't Astro Boy, which it usually is, then it's Black Ops(rare). If it's not Black Ops, then it's baseball(very rare). I wish I could remember all of my dreams that I have, but I don't think that's humanly possible. When I try to think of what dreams I've had recently, I can only think of my Astro related dreams. Weird :eek:

I had a dream of seeing Astro fighting some giant robot in a huge tent after going through this slide tunnel, but as movie prototype Astro, where he used his arm cannon and blasted it...actually, i think it was that Kingdom Hearts boss from alice in wonderland XD

I'm sure i've dreamt of something else, but I can't remember ^_^;;;

I had an amazing “dream” not very long after I joined this forum. I had just finished reading “The Astro Boy Essays” and was feeling very sad that I hadn’t learned more about Dr. Tezuka and his works before he died. If only we had the Internet back then, but he died just a few short years before it came to be.

I dreamt I was entering a house, although it wasn’t the house I live in. It was evening, and through the door windows I could see someone sitting at a table, reading a book (the person’s back was to me). I opened the door and look at the figure – it was a man, wearing a red beret, and he turned to face me. He was Asian, and suddenly my dream began to feel “real” (I think they call that “lucid dreaming”).

“Oh! It’s YOU!” I cried out, overjoyed, because now I clearly recognized Dr. Tezuka, who smiled broadly back at me, and bowed his head, politely. I felt fully awake at that point, and didn’t know what to say (could he understand me?). I remember ‘thinking’ “Thank you sooo much for all the joy you brought to my life! So many of us love you –“
We looked at each other smiling, and I could kind of “feel” his response, not so much particular words, as an overall sense of gratitude, joy and peace. I feel somehow, that he really does know how much we appreciate his life’s work, and is aware of what we’re doing, this forum, etc.

I suddenly opened my eyes, and was in awe at what had just happened. The encounter was similar to others I’ve had with family and friends who have passed on, but to have reached him, and made such a connection is something I'll always treasure.

Yes, Tezuka is someone I would have liked to meet. But mine really just scared the hell out of me at first because I thought I was going crazy. Because I mean a fictional character that I started watching from anime and a CGI movie just told me to get my act together and to stop being so depressed all the time. I kept it to myself but a friend told me that dreams aren't ever suppose to make sense. When they do make sense all the time, that means you're crazy because you can't tell dreams from reality.

For example I have had a dream recently where I pushed my friend down an elevator shaft because he wouldn't give me the 20$ that he owed me. That one actually made me laugh a bit, but that's something I definitely would never do.

depends on the dream but just becuase your dreams tell you something doesn't make you crazy,if you lost something and you drempt that you put it on the shelf and when you look there it is,would you call yourself crazy?
