Yep yep. Audacity is great for just that. And you can use a firefox extension called download helper to download video that you find online, and you can use file factory to convert it to mp3 from almost any video format.

I have Audacity already. Thanks for the tips on download helper and file factory since I use FF primarily. Problem is I cannot seem to find the 2003 series online. If I find the episode I want on Youtube (sorta) it says that the uploader has not made it available in my country...

I used Audacity to make an AstroSexy (Now or Never) remix. I was going to share it but then didn't 'cause it was stupid

So anyway Garage Band is also excellent for remixes and cropping but is VERY expencive.
