Here's everybody out of the box. Tenma is definitely not on the same scale as the kids, and Astro is the sturdiest one of the three; Uran and Tenma are lightweight, like sofubi figures, while Astro is hard PVC.

I kind of wish it were metal, but nah, it's just really well-painted plastic insert!



Here's how he looks with his hand on. He'd stand upright better if he were attached to the stand, but he's never been put on it, and I know it'll permanently widen his leg posing to do so.



Meanwhile, this is Uran with a near-identical candy toy figure I have. It's like the uppercase and lowercase versions of her have met.

I want to buy the discs 6 through the end, but am in no hurry.

I think Uran is cute, but the thing she wears that is open in front & exposing her tights just seems to wreck the innocence of her earlier versions' occasional oops, her panties are seen, but she is too young to be bothered about it / she has outgrown her dress type of cute.

For me, the outfit looks more like a loose tunic and leggings, and lots of fans refer to this as "the ballet outfit". As a girl, I'd rather wear something like this as a child; it's way more comfortable for all the running, jumping, and climbing Uran does.

In the versions where Uran is really tall and looks 9-13, and her dress is still lifting up, that always makes me super uncomfortable for a ton of reasons. Please dress your children in leggings they can jump around in!

I must admit that in the B&W series, Uran does indeed appear rather mature, except in a few scenes, particularly when wearing Atom's briefs, as then it is obvious that she is indeed rather young.

Leggings= a form of tight pants and not like stockings or hose, right? Because that's the impression I'm getting; I feel that this outfit was by no means meant to look any worse than some of her other get-ups. Besides, it's a lot better than the near-constant panty-shots. :T
