atom.avi from the clips directory is a short low-quality clip of the last bit of the Japanese b&w intro. I was sure I had a longer one with the whole intro, so I'll take a look through some backup cds a little later and see if I can dig that up for you (I've been meaning to look for a bunch of other things anyway).

That's great that it's almost done, can't wait to see the finished product.

I'm not dissapointed and I started the thread, so unless someone complains about it being OT, I'm happy to keep the conversation going

I'm not sure exactly what you guys are asking, but I think the answer is that essentially it's no different than any P2P file sharing, it's just a different protocol being used by different software. Just like websites are a different protocol (HTTP). I could just as easily run an HTTP server and serve web pages if I wanted (and so could anyone else - with the right software).
Here's an interesting tidbit of info:
Kazaa is an HTTP server - you can connect to anyone who is running Kazaa with your web browser and you'll get a webpage with links to all their shared files. You can download files from any Kazaa user without even having Kazaa on your machine.
If you're running it now, try this address:
http://127.0.0.1:1214
To connect to other people, just replace "127.0.0.1" with their IP addy (I won't go into how to get those unless someone's interested)
