Okay, then here is one facing the same direction. But if it had been because of the lighting, I would have thought that his thighs would have changed color too.

Then, when he starts walking, they suddenly grow. It's more striking in motion though.

There is no blank color in Astro's eyes, it's the same color than his eyelids instead... It bugs me everytime I see it!



This train isn't too fast... it's too slow! :wahah: Can you see why?

The color of the eyes seems almost white to me. I made a zoom and while his eyelids are pink, his eyes are a very light pink, almost white

I think this is intentional. While it may indeed be incorrect to have reflections on both sides, it is probably for the purpose of showing the curvature of his noggin. Although that purpose would be inconsistent with these images, in which the top of his head blends with the dark background:
