I've got a page collecting pretty much all the info on the movie thus far on my site, AstroBoy World. Here it is http://astroboyworld.blogspot.com/2008/03/astroboy-animated-movie-what-we-know.html
I've also got an image gallery. I'm under the impression from a source close to the project that what we've seen thus far will probably not be the final look of the film. http://astroboyworld.blogspot.com/2008/03/animated-movie-image-gallery.html
When Colin Brady was replaced as director by David Bowers, pretty much everything related to Brady was erased from the Imagi website, including a really informative interview seen in the pics on the first page of this thread. I'd really like to use those pics on my site for posterity if that's ok.
Sayonara.

acording to this Dutch article, Tenma/Tanner...DIES!
in short, Astro's father ( not mentioned by name) dies shortly after Astro's birth,
Astro then can't candle it and looks for distraction that would end up him fighting robot gladiotors..
Why ? * cries *

I haven't been researching it at all. I'm just going by what you guys say.
I really don't think this will be a good movie either way.
But it's fun to be part of the conversation.
...Yeah, I am a weirdo.

SWEET #$@$ING #*@%!
What the heck just happened?! The Imagi site had said something about Astro meeting back up with "the father who abandoned him", so...so...
Then again, they could have changed the storyline recently, like with the switching of directors.
My faith in this movie is kinda dwindling here. Aw man, this is gonna be worse than Sonic Underground, isn't it?
