I had completely missed that. I had a 12 inch action figure (Johnny West), that had unpainted sideburns. I really hated this one, because his hair was so lame. I always used him as the guy who is killed first, or suffers the most humiliating situations, & eventually poured model glue all over him, lit it, & tossed him onto a slab of rock in the nearby woods.
I was rather rough on my toys.

Nobody hurts my Astro and get away with it!
... to quote Astro in "The Human Faced Rock"!

(it was "Nobody hurts my sister and get away with it") So I warned you, don't do this to any Astro toy you might have!
hurt or hurts?

Yes, I was talking about that one (the red arrow). I hadn't even seen the one pointed by the green arrow

I hadn't seen it either before jeffbert's post. Fortunately, he posted the pic from "Save the Carolina 3" or else we would still argue over different things! :wahah: I wouldn't have understood what he meant otherwise!

I was really stumped at first! But it was, as you said, an unpainted area in his hair above his left ear!

The color choice does seem a little strange to me (more skin color than white). But while I can't really explain why they chose to put that there, it doesn't seem wrong in itself.
