LOL, I love the comments of the guy in the Tezuka museum!

I'm sure many of us could help the owner of the cels with the episodes! ;) The most scheming for me are A8 and A4. I just know I've seen these, but I can't remember in which episodes!

The guy seems to be a very dedicated fan. To own that lot of cels means that you should have a lot of determination (and lots of money too. ;) )

I emailed him a while ago and offered to buy one but I never heard back. I was able to name some of the episodes for him though.

I remember that pic. It was shown on the former site of astroboy.com.au a few years
ago.
Astro's shot is taken from the ep 'The Monster Of Clarken', while the whole
background has been removed and exchanged with a one showing some trees in a spring day.
Actually Astro makes his gestures in Doc Elefun's lab.

I simply have to post them somewhere.
Everytime I see Astro with this expression, my heart melts like wax:

My heart is not completely melting right now... Maybe you should add these pics are about rhe last words that Astro have with Niki? Now I don't have a heart anymore, it has completely melted  See that puddle on the ground? that used to be my heart a few minutes ago :P

Now if you will excuse me, I have to sob for the rest of the day (at least)

Wait a minute. :o
Those are pics from Astro's First Love isn't it?
I love that episode!
Yeah, it also makes me sad a little bit.
Compared to the one episode in the 2003 series: Space Academy. :D
But, I'm glad the bomb didn't explode or detonate.

Thank you, you're too kind.

Yes it's sad. In the French version however, the rocket scientist manages to stop the bomb before it explodes AND not to destroy Niki. She will continue to live, but strangely she and Astro would never meet again
I guess we must choose between sadness and scenario consistency :P

I watched a few minutes of The Greatest Robot in the World in French and I was surprised at how much was cut. Uran getting electrocuted by Bruton's hand, Xeron getting torn apart after being immune to the electric horns, Brondo flying out of the sea and landing back in the whirlpool, etc.
I'm impressed by the consistently good voice acting though (both series).
