This has been really great. I do hope that someone can compile all of the great info in this thread and put it up permanently on a website so that we don't loose it. If that happens, I'll be happy to link to it.

I think it adds to the coolness of his character. And yes, it's a robot horse.
And does it have a name?
How about "Fury"? Or "Mr. Ed"? "Jolly Jumper"?

The two latter ones are talking horses though, and Fury was black. Hmm.. maybe we yet have to think about a name for it.

Jay, from what have you seen those episodes? I'm surprised you do not have any extras if you have some boxset.
Thanks again, watching Astroboy will really take a new dimension!
It does, but I never understood how it could move in space like that or even on earth. Never noticed jets or anything.
I always assumed it spared Atlas from losing energy when travelling, for some reason!

I can create a HTML page which contains all the information, but I would rather not be linked because my server may not take the additional charge (I don't know how many people visit your website). Copying the file may be better I think.
I'll create the page, then I'll see what to do with it.
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

I was thinking something was missing: I had only 42 episode and I couldn't imagine I could have missed by almost 10
Anyway, what I have already done is here. There is a duplicate section at the end. It looks like "Astro Fight Aliens" have been commented twice. I wouldn't have given a second thought and would have removed the duplicate (I did for other episodes), but the problem is that the texts aren't the same
First line already has a difference, and more text is present in the duplicate. I left it as-is for now, even though I think the duplicate is the one to keep. Could you confirm this Jay?
Edit: Now I am thinking, maybe I should remove the end of the last comment saying that's it's over? (not because it wasn't over but because it has nothing to do in the comments themselves in my opinion)

I will repost all of it in one big lump when I am done -- if the server will take it. Yes, the on-line posts are more polished.

We could also make new pages and ask Mark to put them on his site. I know we have all visited the whole website so long ago that we tend to forget that this is not only a forum but also a site!
I could volunteer to make the html just like the rest of the site.
Your solution is also just fine, fafner.

"The Snow Leopard"
I am the odd leopard owner.
Paul is the computer voice analyzing Astro.
Becky does such a fine job with Urane. It's far more than just the voice; she offers interpretation in every word. Just charming.
Guard is Dave.
EeeYOW! Is this Brian's best show or what? Holy . . . something or other.
Kahlei and Debbie are the little robots. I never remembered Debbie getting this much work. Odd. Some of us were were let off every other day, while the rest of the cast did a new show. I was lucky and came in every day. I did not remember at all that Debbie worked so much. As I mentioned earlier, she was a children's theater director.
"Uran's Quest"
Urane's pal Morry is Debbie. I spell it Urane, because that's what we got in scripts. I believe her mom in the episode is Celia Klehr -- Celia's first appearance in the show. She was added very late to the cast. I just saw her sister, Mary, two weeks ago, and we hugged tight. I love their whole family; directed the youngest sister in a stage show (and fell absolutely, helplessly and completely in love with her; but that's many years ago). Just all magic people. A family of all daughters, and they all are actresses, or have worked as actresses.
I am the pal's nasty father.
Huh, interesting show. Not many (or any?) cartoons tackle the religions of the world. Librarian is Kahlei. Hey, let's get a little love for Zororaster! Narrator is Del. I am the kid in the ballcap. Greg is the kid on the ramp thing, Dr. Zar is Paul. I am the guy in the tunnel.
Does anyone else think that Zar looks like natural gas?
Becky is really fine as Urane, isn't she? We were not the best of friends, but she does excellent work. Dave is the screaming kid on the carousel, Rich is the carousel operator.
Ha! Once we get into the card scene, it looks like a big DVD; years before DVDs. Prophetic.
Why does Astro always take his shirt off before he fights crime? Odd. I hardly ever disrobe to do a good deed. Why, just yesterday I gave a homeless man a dollar, and it didn't even begin to occur to me to take off clothing. Not so much as a sock.
The mirror end of course recalls "Lady from Shanghai," a great Orson Welles film. I played Welles in a stage play two years ago. Great man; tragic man; sad man. As I wrote above, he once lived just a few blocks from me -- but long before I was born. I think of him every time I go by his old address.
I am the repair man with the message.
